xx The Band's Levon Helm has died
« Thread started on: Apr 19th, 2012, 7:25pm »

I got the news today from a local news site, & I have my favorite song, "The Weight", playing as I type this. Levon died just this afternoon at his New York home of throat cancer. He also hails from my home state. Rest in peace, Levon, and say hello to Marvin for us!

So sad... I have been playing songs by the band all day too. I couldn't bare to watch The Last Waltz without getting sadder. He was truly a great guy with a true rock n' roll heart. Maybe him and Marvin are doing "Baby Don't You Do It" together right now.... How about that
