Songwriter's Hall of Fame induction 2011?

I think it's kinda long overdue but I believe Marvin should finally be inducted to the Songwriter's Hall of Fame. I think he's written enough classics to get such an award. I think he had a Lifetime Achievement Award or something from the SHOF but never an official induction. I wonder if his death impacted what could've happen with his induction. Not a lot of folks were given their inductions posthumously. So I wonder if Marvin's death makes him getting an induction harder? But I guess it shouldn't really matter because Marvin was inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame three years after he died. But don't you think he deserves to be inducted least next year? I sure hope so lol

I agree, Marvin deserves it. I think it's gonna take a while though.. These are the same people who waited more than 20 years to put Sam Cooke in there. They don't work as fast as the RockNRoll hall of fame. Lol
