Hi y'all wink I was posting two versions of the Philly classic "Me and Mrs. Jones' on my site, and while I was doing research, I found out that Marvin Gaye is supposed to have this song covered too. Does anyone know?
I'd love to hear his take on it.

This is a pretty common mistake. I've seen Marvin's name attached to the song but every time i've heard "his" version it's basically the original.

Remember folks, Marvin became pretty adverse to recording covers of contemporary songs after doing "yesterday". He mainly dabbled in recording his own version of jazz standards.

They also credited "When a Man Loves a Woman" and "Stand By Me" to Marvin but they obviously aren't MG songs at all. So it happens lol
